Rehabilitation Services
PRS currently conducts physical and occupational
therapy services in plants in the Kansas City area as well as in
our free standing clinics for several smaller employers where on-site
services are not needed due to a smaller volume. Therapy reduces
pain, recovery time and the likelihood of future injuries as well
as facilitates early return to work or prevents loss of work.
PRS will provide all of the physical rehabilitation
services as requested by each facility. PRS can:
- Assist the Medical Department to devise treatment
protocols to manage injury/illness cases
- Review jobs with limitation disability
- Conduct work simulation/rehabilitation/work
conditioning
- Maintain equipment and documentation
- Perform miscellaneous administrative services
related to the plant’s wellness program
- Interact with individuals and teams working
on safety, ergonomics, national benefits case management, medical
care and worker’s compensation
- Provide therapeutic exercise, functional and
physical capacity assessments, assistance with job analysis and
the educational components, reports and records related to these
activities
- Work with plant personnel to determine additional
needs, based on plant injury demographics
