Dowma DPT, BFA received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Noelle is certified in Pilates through Polestar Pilates education and also is a principle educator where she teaches other rehabilitation and fitness professionals the Pilates work so they can become certified. Previously, Noelle worked as an outpatient orthopaedic physical therapist in Miami, FL, where she also worked with the Miami City Ballet. Noelle has presented on Pilates and physical therapy as a featured presenter on the “Holistic Holiday at Sea” cruise, as well as in the Polestar International Conference. PRS welcomes Noelle and her expertise in Pilates based rehabilitation.
Tamara Depew, DPT, BA received her Bachelor of Arts from Washburn University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Tamara is certified in Pilates as Polestar Rehabilitation Practitioner and has been involved in Pilates since 2000. Tamara has extensive experience working in physical therapy clinics and Pilates studios, where she utilizes her skills to educate and rehabilitate patients. Tamara has presented on fitness, Pilates and rehabilitation to the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association, Kansas Parks and Rec and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Tamara worked at John’s Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where she obtained vast knowledge on neurological rehabilitation. . She also has specialty experience in women’s health, and pre-post natal Pilates.
